Sonshiners: Florida Pioneer Museum

Join us for a trip back in time to old historic Florida. This village is rich in history! There are 11 buildings, each with a story to tell about the past. The main building which houses the museum has Indian displays, military displays (Civil War, WWI & WWII), old tools, pottery, dolls wearing the fashions of days gone by, and so much more. At the train depot, people can interact with telegraph & telephone equipment. Climb aboard the steam engine and ring the bell! So much Florida history in one place and well worth the trip off the beaten path.
